Anastasia and Adam - A Moody Secret Garden Microwedding

An intimate backyard wedding may be small in scale but can be big in style! Just ask Anastasia and Adam, who envisioned a secret garden celebration at their home, surrounded by only their closest friends and family. We started with a striking palette of vermillion and oxblood reds accented with nude and black. We focused on jaw-dropping flora, with an organic sweeping arch bedecked in blooms and airy baby’s breath, plus a feasting table featuring collections of ikebana-inspired arrangements in low bowls mixed with taper candles to set the mood. Sliced agate stone place cards completed layered place settings of matte black dishware, hemstitch linen napkins, and black-dipped gold flatware. And the mother-of-all-grazing tables tempted guests with a gourmet assortment of cheeses, charcuteries, dips and spreads, crudité, fresh fruit, and even oysters in the half shell… followed by a slice of carrot and cream cheese wedding cake adorned with sugared berries. The evening was sheer perfection and truly the stuff that microwedding dreams are made of!
