This 'Born to be Wild' baby shower was filled with adorable safari details any mom-to-be would love! From the decor to the food and cake, jungle-inspired elements could be found everywhere.
The star of the show (besides the beautiful mommy-to-be!) was the marble cake with gumpaste leaves, topped with handmade clay animals sitting in buttercream grass!
Inspired by the mommy-of-honor's love of giraffe's, the invitation asked guests to 'monkey on over' to a neighborhood clubhouse, and 'RoarSVP' their attendance.
An enclosure card asked guests to bring a favorite book instead of a card (and you can see by the photos that half of the fun was reading the sweet messages inside the covers!)
As guests arrived they were welcomed by a cute chalkboard sign and balloons adorned with monkeys!
Inside, tables were decorated with assorted jungle animal toys dressed in baby clothes and holding gold balloons (all meant for baby to enjoy after the shower!)
Seriously, how cute are these little monkeys in jungle onesies!
The mommy-to-be was moved to tears when she saw everything for the first time - so many little details everywhere you looked...
As a unique keepsake to document all those in attendance, guests stamped their fingerprints onto a giraffe silhouette canvas and wrote their names next to the fingerprint spots.
Coordinating stationery pieces included 'Wild Guesses' cards and Gift Bingo!
Jungle themed tent cards boasting food items like Cub Crudites, Tiger Tails, Tropical Fruit Palm, and Forest Foliage adorned the food station.

A towering 'Tropical Fruit Palm' added some color and sweetness to the food station!
Adorable elements like wooden elephant stands helped complete the jungle themed food station.
The tent cards, and some clever names for everyday foods, also helped to reflect the jungle theme through out the shower.

A beverage station offered a cute display of cucumber mint water and sparkling cider sangria.
So many cute details, like the paper straws that resembled birch trees!
A sweets station included animal mud bath bark and zebra cakes.
We made sure the mommy-to-be's love of giraffes wasn't missed anywhere!
The custom giraffe marshmallow pops, and the most adorable cake you've ever seen, were also on the dessert menu.
