Liz and Walker met at a Fraternity and Sorority Social while both attending the University of Florida; after dancing and chatting, they went on their first date the next day, and the rest is history! Both raised in Florida, they wanted their laid back lifestyle to be reflected in their wedding by keeping the overall vibe fun instead of 'theme-y' or 'stuffy'. More than anything they just wanted to enjoy a great celebration with their closest friends and family.
To help ease the pre-wedding jitters, the bride shared a special First Look with her dad. The couple exchanged traditional marriage vows at a charming local Presbyterian church before shuttling guests to the waterfront Tampa Garden Club for a reception overlooking Tampa Bay and infamous Bayshore Boulevard.
As guests arrived for the outdoor cocktail hour, they were greeted with a display of wine, champagne, and ice water. A string trio transitioned their performance from the chapel to the lawn, while guests enjoyed passed hors d'oeuvres in the garden.
Inside, tables were accented with candles and flowers in shades of ivory and coral, with pops of navy in the linen napkins.
Guests mingled during the social atmosphere of the reception, partaking in various food stations such as gourmet crepes and Mediterranean vegetables and chicken. The laid back feel of the evening made for lots of epic dancing, for which the bride changed into a monogrammed button down tee with comfy keds!
